Tales from the Green Room

Synopsis of Tales From Green Room: In the past 18 months, Tales From The Green Room has been granted access to green rooms at multiple Bay Area venues - including Sweetwater Music Hall, The Chapel, The Mystic, and HopMonk- and at festivals such as Skull & Roses (Ventura, CA), the Mill Valley Music Festival, Sound Summit on Mt. Tamalpais (Marin County, CA), and Terrapin Sunday Day Dream Vol 2 (Novato, CA) - capturing soundbites from artists before and after their performances. These include conversations with  Sierra Ferrell, Jay Lane, Luther Dickinson, Anders Osborne, Jackie Greene, George Porter, Jr., Michael Franti, Jason Crosby, Grahame Lesh, Reed Mathis, Elliott Peck, Samson Grisman, Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Peter Albin, Dave Getz and many others. Tales From The Green Room also traveled to Maui to interview Vince Herman and Drew Emmitt of Leftover Salmon at Da Maui Playground.

 

The interviews captured are used to create podcast episodes that forever preserve the real time thoughts and emotions of the guests on the day of their performances, and to promote the artists’ initiatives, upcoming appearances, or record releases. Tales From The Green Room has a photographer on hand to snap shots of the interviews and, as allowed, of the artists during their show on the day of the interview, thus providing content for collaborated social media posts promoting the episode, artist and venue.  We also create a Tales From The Green Room episode eBook (link below) that breathes continuing life into the podcast episode and can be used by the artists and available to their fans.
